Ads
Elsewhere Some big shorteners now show an ad page before free links open.
With HitLink Never ads, preview pages or countdowns, on any plan.
Beta
HitLink turns long web addresses into short links you can share anywhere. We check the page against Google's list of dangerous sites and three public phishing and malware lists. If a list reports the page as dangerous, we don't shorten it. If a check can't run, the link is created and marked check pending, and we keep checking it. No ads, no cookies on your links, hosted in the EU.
HitLink is in private beta, launching soon.
Other shorteners made these problems common. We built HitLink to avoid them.
Ads

With HitLink Never ads, preview pages or countdowns, on any plan.
Blocked links
Elsewhere Carriers and browsers block shared short domains because scammers use them.
With HitLink Every link is checked before it's created and re-checked while it's live, so our domains stay clean and your links keep reaching people.
Surprise bills
Elsewhere Plans renew without warning and refunds are hard to find.
With HitLink You see the price before you confirm, can cancel anytime from your billing page, and get a full refund within 30 days, no questions asked.
Any web address, from any device.
If Google Web Risk, OpenPhish, PhishTank or URLhaus lists the page as dangerous, we refuse to shorten it. If a check can't run, the link is created and marked check pending.
Your link is re-checked on a schedule. If the page turns dangerous, we switch the link off and show it in your dashboard.
If a safety list reports the page as dangerous, we don't shorten it. We don't claim a link is safe just because a check hasn't finished.
Active links are re-checked weekly on Free, daily on Starter, and up to hourly on Pro. If a page turns dangerous, we switch the link off and mark it Blocked in your dashboard.
Because we refuse links to known dangerous pages and keep re-checking them, our short domains are much harder for scammers to abuse. That helps your links keep reaching people. Free links use htlk.link. Paid plans can also use s.hitlink.com.
Visitors go straight to your page, with no preview pages and no countdowns.
See real visits separately from unusual traffic and automatic link previews, so a chat app's preview bot doesn't inflate your numbers.
No cookies on short links and no raw IP addresses stored. Hosted in Finland and run from Sweden under GDPR.
Your links keep working if you change plans or cancel. Deleting a link is permanent, and visitors then see that the owner removed it.
When you create a link, we check the page against Google Web Risk and copies of the OpenPhish, PhishTank and URLhaus lists. If any of them lists it as dangerous, we don't shorten it. If a check can't run, the link is created and marked check pending.
Active links are then re-checked on your plan's schedule: weekly on Free, daily on Starter, and on Pro hourly for links clicked in the last 30 days and daily for the rest. If a page turns dangerous, we switch the link off. The short domains set no cookies, and we don't store raw IP addresses. The server is in Helsinki, in the EU. HitLink is run by Janid Inayat, a sole trader in Sweden, under GDPR.

Each plan lets you keep a set number of links. Deleting a link frees up room for a new one. If you move to a smaller plan and have more links than it allows, all your links keep working. You just can't add new ones until you delete some or upgrade. Active links are re-checked weekly on Free, daily on Starter, and on Pro hourly for links clicked in the last 30 days and daily for the rest.
Prices are in US dollars, plus VAT where applicable. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Full refund on any payment within 30 days, no questions asked. Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller.
These are not included in any plan yet: an email when a page turns dangerous, changing where a link goes, exporting your links, a longer visit history and where visits came from on Pro, your own domain (1 on Starter, 5 on Pro), and an API on Pro.
