A cap counts links that are active. Deleting a link frees a slot. If you are over the cap, the links you already have keep redirecting. You cannot create another until you delete one or upgrade. Active links are re-checked weekly on Free, daily on Starter, and on Pro hourly for links used in the last 30 days and daily otherwise. People who joined the waitlist before this price change can subscribe at the previous prices for 12 months.

How does the safety check work?

What do the click counts include?
Daily totals of real visits, unusual visits, and automatic or preview visits (like the preview a chat app makes when someone pastes a link). Free keeps 30 days, Starter one year, Pro the full history plus where visits came from.
Do you track my visitors?
The short domains set no cookies, and we don't store raw IP addresses.
Where is my data stored?
On a server in Helsinki, Finland, in the EU. HitLink is run by a Sweden-based business and follows GDPR.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on paid plans: one custom domain with Starter and five with Pro. Custom domains open after the beta. Free has none.
What happens to my links if I change plans?
Your links keep working if you change plans or cancel. If you are over the cap, the links you already have keep redirecting. You cannot create another until you delete one or upgrade.
Will there be ads on my links?
No. Links do not show ads, preview pages, or countdowns.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days of a payment. Paddle processes refunds.
